Arthritis, slowed by age, complains too much

Joining the army at a young age, Gramps went to war and was separated from his unit. He became adopted by a small Asian village that took him in and provided him with martial arts training that supplemented his already knowledgeable assortment of skills. However, due to his constant grumbling and gas, he was rejected from the village before he could become a ninja. Returning to the United States, Gramps taught martial arts in the army until retiring to Suburbia after a long military career citing being tired of fighting.
