Have you ever wished that a story that you read turned out differently? For example: the story of Twilight. Did Bella end up with the best mate? Thousands of teens and adults would cry out for their favorite love interest for Bella. Do you follow Team Edward, Team Jacob or would you set her up with someone else? Many people voiced their opinion in the form of fan fiction.

For me fan fiction is simply amazing! For those new to fan fiction…. It is basically fans create stories based off of their favorite books and movies. The stories can have any number of changes from the original story. Anything goes….

My personal favorite fan fiction site is www.fanfiction.net. I literally spend hours each week on that website.

I have not written any stories that are posted on that site. My grammar is terrible! I am a Graphic Artist, not a Writer. Any editor would cringe at all of my grammar mistakes. I am merely one of the thousands of visitors who immerse themselves in alternate worlds of their favorite stories. (And wish that updates are daily)

10,000 words or more stories are usually the best ones (For Me) to choose from. Usually if the stories are less than 10,000 words; leave you feeling that you have only a taste of the story.

The only problem that I find with fan fiction is the SPOILER ALERT. For those who feel the same way… We need to keep up to date with the topic that we are reading about. So, that we do not feel upset that a major plot twist is revealed.

Overall, reading fan fiction is a great way to view your favorite story with a twist.
